Every screen in NiyamR, explained

NiyamR follows one AI system through six stages — discover it, assess it against the rules that apply, document the evidence, monitor it after go-live, secure it at runtime, and prove where you stand. This reference covers each stage and the screens inside it.

Discover

Find the AI you already have

Most estates run more AI than anyone can name. NiyamR builds the inventory from things you already own — the domains your network sees, the logs your firewall already writes, and the AI services your teams sign up for.

Outcome — A register of AI systems, including the shadow ones nobody reported.

AI Asset Discovery

Find the AI already running in your estate.

The working inventory of every AI system NiyamR has found or you have registered. Assets arrive from network sightings and block-log imports, and each one carries a confidence score and a shadow-AI flag.

What you do
Review what was discovered, mark the shadow AI, and promote a real finding into a tracked system.
What you get
An inventory you can act on, with every asset either linked to a system, marked shadow, or resolved.
Open AI Asset Discovery

Block Log Import

Turn firewall logs into an AI inventory.

Your network already knows which AI services staff are reaching — that knowledge is sitting in a proxy or firewall log. Upload it and NiyamR matches the rows against a catalogue of AI domains.

What you do
Export a block log from Zscaler, Palo Alto, Squid, Cloudflare or Cisco and upload the CSV.
What you get
An import summary: rows read, AI matches, unique AI domains, and the new assets it created.
Open Block Log Import

AI Domain Feed

The AI services your network should know about.

A maintained, risk-tiered catalogue of AI-service domains. It is the source list behind discovery, and it is also something you can push into your own network controls.

What you do
Add domains you have found in the wild, or export the feed for your own tooling.
What you get
A .txt or .csv feed to drop straight into a proxy, DNS filter or SOC blocklist.
Open AI Domain Feed

Assess

Score it against the rules that apply

Put any system through a structured assessment. Answer once and NiyamR scores it against the EU AI Act, the UK AI Principles or MAS FEAT, and names the specific obligations you are failing rather than just handing you a number.

Outcome — A scored assessment with obligations, gaps and a remediation priority.

Compliance Assessment

Score a system against EU, UK and MAS rules.

The front door to the assessment engine. Describe the system or upload its documentation, choose which regimes apply, and work through a structured questionnaire. NiyamR scores the answers and shows you where the gaps are.

What you do
Enter the system details or upload a spec, pick EU / UK / MAS — one, two or all three — then answer the questions at your own pace.
What you get
A scored assessment with the specific obligations you are failing and what to fix first. Drafts autosave, so a long assessment survives a closed tab.
Open Compliance Assessment

Automated Risk Assessment

A deeper, generated read on one system.

For a system you already track, NiyamR generates a fuller risk picture than the questionnaire alone: the risk dimensions in play, the findings behind them, and a remediation plan.

What you do
Open any system and generate its risk assessment — regenerate it after the system changes.
What you get
Scored risk dimensions, detailed findings, and a remediation plan you can assign.

AI System Record

The master record for one AI system.

Every system has a home: what it does, who owns it, where it sits in its lifecycle, and every assessment and document attached to it. This is where the history lives between assessments.

What you do
Open a system from the dashboard to edit its details, move it through its lifecycle, or see its assessment history.
What you get
One authoritative record per system, with its full governance history in a single view.

Document

Produce the paperwork

The assessment becomes the evidence. NiyamR generates the documentation pack and keeps the policies and framework requirements behind it in one place, so an audit request is a lookup rather than a scramble.

Outcome — Generated documentation, and a policy board showing what is drafted, approved and in force.

Documentation Library

Your compliance paperwork, in one library.

Everything NiyamR has generated across every system — the pack an auditor asks for, already written. Filter it by regulation or status instead of hunting through folders.

What you do
Filter by regulation or status, then open a system's documentation tab to read or export.
What you get
Generated artefacts — evidence, records and reports — ready to hand over.
Open Documentation Library

Policy Tracker

Frameworks and internal policies, side by side.

The governance your organisation writes for itself, next to the regulatory frameworks it is measured against. Each policy carries its own requirements so you can see what is actually covered.

What you do
Create a policy, add its requirements, and move each one through to approved.
What you get
A board of every policy with its status, and the requirement list behind each one.
Open Policy Tracker

Monitor

Keep watching after go-live

A system is not compliant once, it is compliant continuously. NiyamR watches the regulation pipeline, the providers you depend on, and the usage and spend your AI generates — then writes all of it to one timeline.

Outcome — A regulatory watchlist, provider uptime, cost alerts and a single audit trail.

Horizon Scanning

Watch rules before they land.

AI regulation moves constantly, and the expensive failures are the ones you hear about late. The horizon watchlist tracks entries from proposal through to in-force, with sources and effective dates.

What you do
Follow the watchlist, and add anything your own legal team is tracking.
What you get
A staged view of upcoming change — proposed, consultation, enacted, in force — so nothing arrives as a surprise.
Open Horizon Scanning

Audit Trail

One timeline of everything that happened.

Lifecycle changes, discovery findings, Shield enforcement, imports and retirements, written to a single append-only timeline. It is the answer to "when did we know, and what did we do about it?"

What you do
Filter by source to isolate one kind of event, then export the evidence pack.
What you get
A unified, filterable event log and a PDF evidence pack for the period you select.
Open Audit Trail

Provider Health

Is the AI provider you depend on actually up?

A dependency you cannot see is a risk you cannot manage. NiyamR probes the status pages and endpoints of the providers your systems rely on, and keeps the samples.

What you do
Refresh the probes and filter to the providers that matter to you.
What you get
Reachability, latency and 24-hour samples per provider — evidence of an outage, not a rumour.
Open Provider Health

Usage Analytics

Where the requests, tokens and cost go.

AI spend arrives as one line on an invoice unless you attribute it. Usage analytics rolls requests, tokens, cost and latency up by team, application, provider and model.

What you do
Choose a time window and a grouping, and read the rollup.
What you get
Cost and volume attribution per team and per model, so chargeback and capacity questions have an answer.
Open Usage Analytics

Cost Budgets

Stop a runaway AI bill.

A model left unguarded can spend without limit. Set a monthly cap per team, application, provider or model, and NiyamR watches the threshold for you.

What you do
Add a budget, choose what it covers, and set the alert threshold.
What you get
Threshold alerts when a budget drifts, with the alert itself recorded in the audit trail.
Open Cost Budgets

Secure

Enforce the policy at runtime

Governance on paper does not stop a prompt. NiyamR Shield sits in the browser and in the gateway, deciding allow, redact or block before the data leaves the machine — and logging every decision it makes.

Outcome — Runtime enforcement, an incident log, and a model allow-list you control.

NiyamR Shield

Enforce your policy on every prompt.

The enforcement console. Test your guardrails against real prompts, write the site policy, and manage the sensitive terms and categories that decide what gets through — then read the incident log of every decision.

What you do
Run Live Scan to test a prompt, set your site policy, and tune sensitive terms and categories.
What you get
An incident log showing everything that was allowed, redacted or blocked — with the prompt that triggered it.
Open NiyamR Shield

Shield Console

Plan, keys, protection level and activity.

The account side of Shield: your plan, the API key the extension authenticates with, how aggressive the protection is, and a metadata-only log of activity.

What you do
Mint or revoke a Shield key, change the protection level, manage your plan, and export activity.
What you get
A revocable key and a CSV export of every event, without the prompt content ever being stored.
Open Shield Console

Browser Extension

Hold every prompt before it leaves the browser.

The piece that makes enforcement real for a person at a keyboard. The extension catches the prompt in the browser and asks the gateway what to do with it, before any data reaches the AI provider.

What you do
Install the extension on your team's browsers and connect it with your Shield key.
What you get
In-browser enforcement on supported AI sites, with every decision reported to your console.
Open Browser Extension

Model Allow-list

Decide which models are permitted.

A register of the models your organisation permits, blocks, or has not decided on yet — with the lifecycle state of each so a deprecation does not pass unnoticed.

What you do
Add a model, approve or block it, and set its lifecycle stage.
What you get
An allow/block register with deprecation and retirement tracking attached.
Open Model Allow-list

Red Teaming

Beta

Attack your own AI before someone else does.

Adversarial testing against your systems: prompt-injection attempts, policy evasions and the rest — run as a quick sweep or generated to target one specific system.

What you do
Run the quick tests, or generate a targeted test set against a single system.
What you get
Violations, pass/fail counts and the findings behind them, per system.
Open Red Teaming

Prove

Show your work

Everything above is assembled into answers you can hand over: a posture dashboard, per-regime reports, and a copilot that answers from the same regulations you are being measured against.

Outcome — Reports and evidence fit to put in front of an auditor, a board or a regulator.

Dashboard

Your posture, in one table.

The signed-in home. Every AI system you track, with its compliance status and score across the EU AI Act, the UK AI Principles and MAS FEAT — the single screen that answers "where do we stand?"

What you do
Read the metrics, filter the table, open a system, or download its report.
What you get
Status and score per system, with the non-compliant and high-risk counts surfaced first.
Open Dashboard

Compliance Reports

The evidence an auditor asks for.

Each assessment produces a full report: gap distribution, an obligation-by-obligation checklist, a status matrix by legal area, and a ranked remediation list explaining why something failed.

What you do
Open a system from the dashboard and view its report — or run a Deep Review to upgrade a quick scan.
What you get
A per-regime report you can read, export and hand to an auditor or a regulator.
Open from Dashboard

Compliance Copilot

Ask a compliance question, get a grounded answer.

An assistant scoped to governance rather than general chat. Its answers are grounded in the regulations themselves, the horizon watchlist and your own model allow-list, so you get a citation instead of a guess.

What you do
Start from a template or ask your own question, and keep conversations for later.
What you get
Grounded answers with their sources, saved as conversations you can return to.
Open Compliance Copilot

Across the platform

Surfaces that belong to no single stage.

Settings

Appearance and personal preferences.

Personal settings for your account, starting with appearance.

What you do
Choose light, dark, or follow your system.
What you get
A console that looks the way you want it in either theme.
